Solos Health LLC ("Solos Health") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers' personal information. This statement applies with respect to the information that we collect from any of Solos Health's affiliated websites. Amendments to this statement will be posted at each respective URL and will be effective when posted. Your continued use of this site following the posting of any amendment, modification, or change shall constitute your acceptance thereof.
Information Collection & Use
To access parts of Solos Health's affiliated web sites (the "Website" or "Websites"), including www.in2nutrition.com, you may be required to complete a subscription or registration form and create a user name and password. During registration you are required to give contact information that may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number, among other details. This basic information is required if you wish to register or subscribe to the Websites. We may append additional data we obtain from our other owned web sites or third parties to your enrollment information for analysis and marketing purposes. We will use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest, or which we believe will be useful or of interest to you.
You may also be required to provide to us certain personal information, including your age, gender, weight, and body fat percentage. If you sign up for a personalized nutrition and meal plan, we will need this information and other personal information to be able to provide it to you.
When you subscribe to any of our Websites, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our subscription or registration form. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as your credit card number and expiration date).
Solos Health is the sole owner of the information collected on the Websites. Solos Health collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on the Websites.
We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you. We also use this information to send offers and information to you, as described in the "Communications from the Site" section of this policy.
Tell a Friend.
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Website, we will ask you for your friend's name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Website. At the time we send the e-mail notifying your friend about the Website's service, we will provide your friend with the opportunity to opt-in to receiving future messages from us. If your friend fails to opt-in, he or she will not receive further messages from us. Your friend's information will be removed from our database if he or she fails to opt-in.
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear pixels, and/or third party sources to create a "profile" of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information, and your purchasing history, to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you. We do not share your profile with other third parties, although we may send aggregate, non-personally identifiable data to third parties, and we may solicit offers and information from third parties on your behalf using aggregate data.
Supplementation of Information.
In order to provide certain services to you, we may on occasion supplement the personal information you submitted to us with information from third party sources.
Enhancement of Profile Information
We may purchase marketing data from third parties and add it to our existing user database to better target our advertising and to provide pertinent offers in which we think you would be interested. To enrich our Profiles of individual customers, we tie this information to the personally identifiable information they have provided to us.
B. Uses of Information
When you become a member of our Website, we use your enrollment information and activity data to manage your account. We will not rent, sell or share any personal information we gather from you to third parties except as indicated below or to provide information regarding the products or services you have requested (for example, with your express consent we may disclose your personally identifiable information, such as your name and address, to specified third parties that may then send you incentive offers and other promotional materials through the mail or via e-mail). Please see the "Information Sharing and Disclosure" section of this policy for more information.
C. Communications from the Site
We may, but are not obligated to send your personalized nutrition and meal plan to you by email. This may include any or all of the following materials: a Starter Kit Booklet and your Personalized Recipes, Weekly Meal Plans, Grocery Shopping Lists, Fast Food Options, Food Logs and Journal, Progress Charts, and other materials. Alternatively, these materials may only be available on our Websites. Our decision to send these materials by email does not in any way constitute a guarantee that you will receive them.
Special Offers and Updates.
We will occasionally send you information on services, updates, special deals, partner offers or other promotions, and any other information that we believe will be useful to you. You can sign up for these emails from us on our web site. We may also send you information that you do not specifically sign up for if we believe the information will be useful to you.
Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications. Please see the "Choice and Opt-out" section of this policy.
If we choose to publish a newsletter, and you wish to subscribe to it, we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the "Choice and Opt-out" section.
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.
Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. Generally, these communications will take place via email.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
A. Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our partners and advertisers. This information does not identify individual users. We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.
B. Personally Identifiable Information
We may share personally identifiable information to third parties in the following circumstances.
We may use a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies will not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
We use other third parties to provide you with elements of our nutrition and meal plans. When you sign up for our services, we will share any information that may be necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Websites.
Other Third Parties.
We do not share personally identifiable information to any third parties not described in this policy for any reason.
Choice and Opt-out
We provide you the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes when we ask for this information. For example, if you register or subscribe to our program but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference when you sign up.
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by using the unsubscribe link found in each newsletter or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will use our best efforts to honor your requests made using either method. If you use email to opt-out of receiving communications, however, we cannot guarantee that your preferences will be honored immediately. Additionally, we cannot be liable for our failure to update your preferences correctly.
You will be notified before your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider so that you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party. The notification we send will give you a chance to opt out before your personal information is shared with the third party. Note, however, that you are solely responsible for opting out within the time specified in the notification.
We review "log-file" data to monitor site performance and analyze traffic patterns and usage of our Web Site. Each time you visit the Web Site, our server automatically recognizes the following, in addition to other data:
- Host origin of the request (your or your ISP's IP address)
- Referrer URL (the page you came from)
- Requested document (the page you're looking at)
- Your cookie
- Date and time of your visit
This information, sometimes called log-file or clickstream data, is used to monitor Website performance and ensure that the services provided by the Websites function properly. It may also be appended to your personal profile so that we may further tailor the Websites to your interests.
Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features offered by our Websites or any other web sites you visit.
We employ a software technology that may use clear pixels to help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear pixels are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear pixels are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We tie the information gathered by clear pixels to our customers' personally identifiable information.
We use clear pixels in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see "Choice and Opt-out."
Third Party Advertisers
Some of the ads appearing on our Websites may be delivered to users by third party ad servers. We share Web site usage information with reputable third party ad servers for the purpose of targeting our advertisements on this site.
Links to Other Sites
The Websites may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Solos Health. Please be aware that Solos Health is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information.
This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this Web site.
Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire to use our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by making the change on your member information page or by emailing our Customer Support at email@example.com or by contacting us by postal mail at the address listed below.
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or subscription forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
If you have any questions about security on our Websites, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the event Solos Health goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information by email or, alternatively, by a notice posted on the Websites.
